The Porter's Lodge Roof and Finial Tower of Park Güell (Catalan Modernisme)

2632

Built during the height of the Catalan Modernisme (Art Nouveau) period, constructed between 1900 and 1914 (specifically designed and built circa 1901–1903) by master architect Antoni Gaudí.

Architecturally, it serves as the functional roof and chimney cap of the park's administrative gatehouse, designed to shelter the interior spaces, harvest rainwater, and create an iconic, fairytale-like visual gateway that welcomes visitors to Eusebi Güell's planned garden city.
