Palau del Baró de Quadres: Interior Wall Frieze and Geometric Floral Ceiling Border
2508
Designed and executed between 1904–1906 during the Modernisme (Catalan Art Nouveau) period.
This image captures a close-up section of an interior decorative frieze and wall mural featuring a repeating geometric diamond (lozenge) lattice enclosing stylized trilobe leaves, topped by a horizontal floral border. It is executed in stucco, polychrome tempera paint, and gilded plasterwork, using precise geometric stenciling, hand-painted detailing, and low-relief modeling.
