A Gothic interior wall painting and decorative frieze fragment (c. 13th–15th CE) preserved in situ at Autun, featuring a celestial upper vault with angels holding back a draped curtain above a field of interlocking ogival lattice panels filled with stylized foliate palmettes in terracotta and ochre — a simulated textile hanging transforming the stone interior into a heavenly Jerusalem.
