Creation Date: Substantially rebuilt and dedicated in 131 CE (during the reign of Roman Emperor Hadrian, with earlier sanctuary phases dating back to the 1st century BCE / 1st century CE). Period: Roman Imperial Period / Palmyrene-Greco-Roman Synthesis.

Architectural Sanctification and Fertility Symbolism: Designed to adorn the portals, pronaos, and interior pilasters of the sanctuary dedicated to Baalshamin (the Canaanite "Lord of the Heavens"). The rich iconography of grapevines, pomegranates, and foliate scrolls symbolized cosmic abundance, divine protection, and agricultural fertility.
