Elite Royal Regalia: Worn exclusively by high-ranking lords, kings (Chimor rulers), and nobility of the Chimú Empire to project supreme political authority and divine lineage. Mortuary and Sacrificial Offering: High-status textiles served as primary grave goods in elite burials (fardels), acting as spiritual armor and economic wealth transferred to the afterlife.
