Casa Joaquim Pau: Window Lintel, Tympanum, and Stonework Details

2509

Designed and constructed in 1902 during the height of the Modernisme (Catalan Art Nouveau) movement.

This image captures an elaborate tripartite window surround and decorative lintel assembly featuring stone relief carvings, a central semicircular tympanum with biomorphic scrolls, carved floral corbels, and red brick masonry combined with rustic stonework. It is constructed from cut limestone, red ceramic brick, and cast stucco, executed using high-relief sculptural carving, openwork pierced metal/wood transoms, and precision masonry assembly.
