Date: Constructed primarily during the Greco-Roman period, specifically initiated and decorated under the Late Ptolemaic Dynasty and continued into the Roman period (approx. 54 BCE – 68 CE). Period: Ptolemaic-Roman Period in Egypt.

Cosmological and Theological Program: Designed to ensure the eternal rebirth of the cosmos, the daily journey of the sun god through the underworld/heavens, and the divine protection of the temple space dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Ritual Preservation: Acted as an eternal architectural and visual guarantee of cosmic order (Ma'at), bridging earthly royal ritual with celestial theology.
